In 2004, our founder, Anil Abrol, saw a growing problem. Single use plastic bags had become part of everyday life, and so had the waste they created. Rather than accepting it as inevitable, he asked a simple question:

How can we create packaging that is better for the planet?

That question became the foundation of Eco Guardian.

Vision to Impact

We began by introducing reusable shopping bags, helping businesses and consumers reduce their reliance on single use plastics.

It was a simple idea with a clear purpose:

Challenge conventional thinking and prove that better alternatives were possible.

As the environmental challenges facing the food service industry continued to grow, so did our ambition. We expanded into sustainable food packaging, developing compostable cups, containers, cutlery and tableware made from renewable materials.

Every new product was driven by the same belief that inspired us from the beginning:

Businesses should never have to choose between exceptional packaging and environmental responsibility.

Today, we are proud to be writing the next chapter of our story.

At our manufacturing facility in Aurora, Ontario, Eco Guardian now produces paper cups and food containers right here in Canada. This investment represents far more than a new production facility. It is helping strengthen Canadian manufacturing, create skilled local careers, bring advanced manufacturing expertise back to Canada and build more resilient domestic supply chains.
